My Personal Projects

Below is a list of all of my personal web projects. Some of these have been projects of mine for years... while others are relatively new to the schedule. I love any feedback or interest in my projects, so if you ever have any questions or comments please let me know.

eWeb Productions, LLC Project: eWeb Productions
URL: www.ewebproductions.com
Status: 100% complete (currently working on a re-design)

eWeb Productions is my web design and web services company. I have been designing websites since 1998 when I was in high school. I continued my development effort through my college years when I attained a degree from Auburn University with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. This degree allowed me to learn more about code design and engineering techniques to make the work that I do much better. eWeb Productions, LLC was formed in August of 2005 as a joint venture between myself and a friend I met at Auburn. In 2008, I took over 100% stake of eWeb Productions. I pay a 10% referral (including 5% on any upsales I make), so please let me know if you know anyone needing work done.
FromABE Project: FromABE
URL: www.fromabe.com
Status: 40% complete (Plan to complete by April 2009)

FromABE is an online calendar and reminder application. `ABE` is actually an acronym for Alerts By Email. This project was conceived in early 2008. Due to my busy schedule this past year, I have been unable to put as much effort into the implementation as I would like. I plan to finish this application by April 2009, and it will be a free service. I will be making posts in my blog to update everyone of the status of FromABE.
FreeCaddy Project: Free Caddy
URL: www.freecaddy.com
Status: 25% complete (Plan to complete by September 2009)

Free Caddy is not a unique concept, but I think I can do a better job than others have in the past of implementing it. Free Caddy is an online golf statistics tracker and wireless scorecard. The idea is that you enter your golf scores and the system and have the ability to view key statistics to analyse the level of your game in different areas. As a bonus, Free Caddy will have a wireless scoreboard application that will allow you to keep track your golf round AS IT OCCURS via your cell phone.
StatsHigh.com Project: Stats High
URL: www.statshigh.com
Status: 5% complete (Plan to complete by August 2009)

Stats High is an idea that I had preceding the 2008 high school football season. I am a big fan of football, and I think one of the more under-represented sectors of football is at the high school level. I plan to have a database that holds all high school football game results as far back as I can go. This will allow intersted high school football fans to some to my site, and if you wanted to know what your teams historical record versus this week's opponent, you can come to this site to find that information. I'm going to start with my home state Alabama, but there will be plans to expand further across the country if the idea takes off.
3dubyas Project: 3 Dubyas
URL: www.3dubyas.com
Status: 0% complete (Completion timeframe is uncertain)

I've owned the domain name 3dubyas.com for many years and I've always been uncertain of what I want to do with it. I think I'd like to make it a search engine of the 3 `w` questions... Who... What... Where. In essence it would be a search engine, a people finder, and a mapping application all in one. This is a very large project and I have no idea when (if ever) it will be completed.

Other Projects

There is one other project that I have on my plate. It's called Bugs--. It's an open source project that I have up on SourceForge. It will be a PHP-based solution for tracking bugs on smaller projects (as opposed to overcomplicated solutions for large-scale products not needed in smaller development cycles like Bugzilla and Mantis). Here's its SourceForge Page.

Want to Help?
Though I treat each of my projects as it's own little baby, I certainly would accept help on a couple of them. If you are intersted in helping me with any of my projects, shoot me an email (trey@treywhite.com).
